The Beyblade Battle Association, or BBA, is the predecessor of the WBBA, during the days of the plastic generation of Beyblades when they were a big hit, competing with Medabots and such. They operated in the United States most of the time, though they also operated in Japan as well, selling Beyblade stuff, hosting tournaments and events and such. The BBA's gone now, but it lived on in Japan as the WBBA. There is also a fictional version of the BBA in the 2000 anime series, V-Force, and G-Revolution (during the the events of G-Rev, it was taken over by the villainous Boris Balkov and renamed the BEGA League (also known as the Beyblade Entertainment Global Association), in a new attempt at world domination, while passing himself off as having changed for the better, but there are those who aren't so easily fooled, such as Team NeoBorg.), which is like how the WBBA has its own fictional version in Metal Fight manga and anime series. Mr. Dickenson is the head of the BBA, while Ryo Hagane is the head of the WBBA.
